Executive Team

Senaat’s executive team comprises highly experienced professionals from the industrial sector and other related sectors. The team is made up mainly of UAE Nationals and has the expertise required to drive the company’s day-to-day operations and deliver its growth strategy while continually exploring new investment opportunities. The executive management team at Senaat also provides effective direction to the portfolio companies and supports them in improving their financial performance.

Eng. Jamal Salem Al Dhaheri  

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Eng. Jamal Al Dhaheri is the Chief Executive Officer of Senaat, one of the UAE’s largest industrial investment holding companies.

He joined the company in 2006, and bring over 22 years of experience that saw him serve in key management positions within Abu Dhabi’s largest industrial entities; these include Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Company (ADWEA) and Union Water and Electricity (UWEC). His role in General Holding Corporation “GHC” started with Abu Dhabi Basic Industries Corporation (ADBIC), where he grew up the ranks from Vice President (VP) of Aluminium, to CEO of the company, prior to its merger with GHC to form Senaat.

Al Dhaheri is also Chairman of Arkan, Talex and Ducab and serves on the boards of Emirates Steel, and the Abu Dhabi Distribution Company.

He holds a B.Sc. in Science Engineering Management from the University of the Pacific in the US and an Executive MBA from Zayed University.

Mr. Mabkhoot Al Menhali

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Mr Mabkhoot Al Menhali is the Chief Financial Officer of Senaat. In his current role, Mr Al Menhali is responsible for overseeing financial planning and execution across the organisation.

He joined Senaat in 2017, and brings 25 years of experience to the group in financial management, corporate and project finance and cost controls, specifically in the oil and gas and EPC industries.

Previously, he was the Chief Financial Officer of subsidiary National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), a leading oil and gas services company based in Abu Dhabi.

Mr Al Menhali started his career with Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd. (GASCO) the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) subsidiary before moving to NPCC in 1998.

He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Eng. Ahmad Suhail Al Muhairi

Senior Vice President for Strategy & Business Development

Mr. Al Muhairi is Senior Vice President for Strategy & Business Development at Senaat and is a Board Member at National Petroleum Construction Company.

He has extensive experience managing, developing and executing projects and previously held high-level roles across a number of divisions with the Company, including Factories, the Industrial Development Fund and Project Management.

He has a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from Tulsa University in the United States.

Mr. Mahmood Al Hay Al Hameli

Senior Vice President, Business Support

Mr. Al Hameli is the Senior Vice President of Business Support at Senaat. He joined the company in 2012. Mr. Alhameli has over 18 years of experience. In his current role, Mr Al Hameli is responsible for the Management of Human Resource, Information Technology Systems, Procurement and General Administrative Functions within Senaat including Public affairs.

Prior to this role, he has held HR Director Position in ADBIC and then served as Vice President of Administration Support at Emirates Steel. Mr. Alhameli also worked in the Oil & Gas sector with ZADCO (Zakum Development Company) where he advanced in his career whining HR functions.

Mr. Al Hameli is a Board Member at Al Foah, one of Senaat’s subsidiaries, holding the position since 2015. He also heads the Remuneration Committee on Al Foah’s Board. He is an active member of the Human Capital Committee in Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC).

Mr. Al Hameli earned his B.Sc. in Computer Information Systems in summer 1999 from the American University, Washington, D.C. He has also completed Executive Leadership programs in International Business Schools and is alumni of IMD, Switzerland and Ashridge, United Kingdom.

Mr. Rashed Abdul Aziz Hadif Al Shamsi

Vice President, Corporate Investor Relations

Mr. Al Shamsi is the Vice President of Investor Relations at Senaat, where he is responsible for implementing corporate IR programmes and maintaining strong relationships with key Senaat stakeholders.

He joined Senaat in October 2009, and brings 8 years of experience to the group. Mr. Al Shamsi held various positions at Etisalat within the E-Vision Sales and Key Retailers Management departments.

Mr. Al Shamsi holds a BA in Management and Human Resources, as well as a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Marketing from the California State University in San Bernardino in the US.
