Senaat’s executive team comprises highly experienced professionals from the industrial sector and other related sectors. The team is made up mainly of UAE Nationals and has the expertise required to drive the company’s day-to-day operations and deliver its growth strategy while continually exploring new investment opportunities. The executive management team at Senaat also provides effective direction to the portfolio companies and supports them in improving their financial performance.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Eng. Jamal Al Dhaheri is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Senaat, one of the UAE’s largest industrial investment holding companies. Al Dhaheri has over 20 years of experience that saw him serve in key management positions within Abu Dhabi’s largest industrial entities; these include Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Union Water and Electricity (UWEC) and Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Company (ADWEA). His role in Senaat started with Abu Dhabi Basic Industries Corporation (ADBIC), where he grew up the ranks from Vice President (VP) of Aluminium, to CEO of the company, prior to its merger with GHC to form Senaat.
Al Dhaheri is also Chairman of Arkan and Talex, Vice-Chairman Ducab and serves on the boards of Emirates Steel, and the Abu Dhabi Distribution Company.
Al Dhaheri holds a B.Sc. in Science Engineering Management from the University of the Pacific in the US and an Executive MBA from Zayed University.
Mabkhoot Al Menhali is the Chief Financial Officer of Senaat since January 2017. Mabkhoot was the Chief Financial Officer of our subsidiary National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) before joining Senaat.
With over 25 years’ experience in finance management, corporate/project finance and cost control in the Oil & Gas as well as EPC industries; Mr. Al Menhali overseas financial planning and execution across the organization.
Mabkhoot started his career with ADNOC Groups before moving to NPCC in 1998. Mr. Al Menhali is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Al Muhairi is Senior Vice President for Strategy and Business Development at Senaat, and a Board Member at Senaat’s subsidiary, National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC).
Mr. Al Muhairi has extensive experience in managing, developing and executing projects, and has previously held high-level roles across a number of divisions within Senaat related to factories, project management and the Industrial Development Fund and Project Management.
Mr. Al Muhairi holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Tulsa University in the United States.
Mr. Al Hameli has over 15 years’ experience of working within the fields of Human Resources, Procurement, General Administration, Public Affairs and General Services. He is a Board Member of Al Foah and head of its Remuneration Committee, in addition to being head of Senaat’s Group HR Committee.
Prior to Senaat, Mr. Al Hameli held the positions of HR Manager at ADBIC and Vice President of Administration Support at Emirates Steel.
Mr. Al Hameli’s expertise also spans the Oil & Gas sector, having previously worked with Zakum Development Company (ZADCO).
Mr. Al Hameli holds a B.Sc. in Computer Information Systems from American University in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Al Shamsi joined Senaat in October 2009. As Vice President of Investor Relations, he is responsible for implementing corporate IR programmes and maintaining strong relationships with key Senaat stakeholders.
Before joining Senaat, Mr. Al Shamsi held various positions at Etisalat within the E-Vision Sales and Key Retailers Management departments.
Mr. Al Shamsi holds a BA in Management and Human Resources, as well as a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Marketing from the California State University in San Bernandino in the US.
