Senaat’s House Rules

Senaat is present on different social media platforms namely; LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram. We are present on these platforms to offer our stakeholders the opportunity to interact with us in a friendly environment.

We at Senaat welcome honest, open and respectful conversation, sharing of photos, videos and links; however we do reserve the right to remove comments or discussion posts which could be detrimental to others’ enjoyment of our profiles.

We reserve the right to remove user comments which:

Are considered offensive as they are likely to:

o    disrupt, provoke, attack or offend other users

o    Contain swear words or other language likely to offend

o    Be racist, sexist, sexually explicit, abusive or otherwise objectionable

 Are considered irrelevant, as they are likely to be:

o    off-topic for the page, profile, discussion or site to which you are posting

o    'spam' (posts containing the same message posted multiple times)

o    advertising products or services for profit or gain

Are considered defamatory, as they are likely to:

o    be seen to impersonate someone else 

o    identify or discuss other individuals

o    disclose personal details such as full name, address, date of birth or phone numbers

Are considered unethical or unlawful, as they are likely to:

o    Reveal or discuss confidential or sensitive information

o    Infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties

o    Describe or encourage activities which could endanger the safety or well-being of others

o    Could break the law or condone or encourage unlawful activity including breach of copyright, defamation and contempt of court

Users participate at their own risk, taking personal responsibility for their comments, their username and any information provided. Users who continually break the house rules risk being permanently removed or blocked as fans or followers.

Management of our social media profiles

Our profiles are managed by Senaat employees from the Corporate Communications team. They will respond to comments or posts as needed between 9am and 3pm Sunday to Thursday. For media enquiries, please contact [corporate.communications@senaat.co].

Our materials and intellectual property

Our names, images, trademarks and other materials contained on our social media profiles are protected by intellectual property rights. You must not use these materials for any reason without our express consent.

Changes

We reserve the right to amend these House Rules at any time without prior notice. We will notify you on our social media account when there has been a change to these House Rules. You should make sure you are complying with the current House Rules.

We reserve the right to close our social media accounts at any time, without prior written notice.

Governing law

These House Rules are governed by the Federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and local laws of Abu Dhabi and any dispute regarding these House Rules shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi.
