To support the food and beverage manufacturing sector, Senaat invested in Agthia in 2004. Producing and marketing flour and animal feed, water and beverages, processed fruits and vegetables and dairy products, Agthia was integrated into one consolidated group and privatised in the same year. Listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), Agthia remains majority owned (51%) by Senaat.

Today, Agthia is a leading Food and Beverage group with assets located in the UAE, Egypt, Oman and Turkey employing approximately 2,300 employees in two business divisions. Agri business and consumer business;

• The Agri Business, located in the UAE, is responsible for the management, manufacturing, distribution and marketing of Grand Mills flour, the leading flour in the UAE, and Agrivita animal feed, the leading animal feed in the UAE.
• The Consumer Business is responsible for the management, distribution and marketing of several food and beverage brands which are manufactured in Agthia-owned operations located in the UAE, Egypt, Oman and Turkey. These include: Al Ain Water, a leading bottled drinking water in the UAE and; Capri-Sun juices.
